Today at Paul Crowley & Co solicitors we are celebrating International Women’s Day 2019 (IWD’2019) and the achievements made by women across all continents.
Paul Crowley & Co are offering their support for IWD’2019 by taking part in an event to be held at Blackburne House today for the empowerment of women, this will be situated in the main hall from 10.30 to 12.30. We do this in conjunction with Merseyside Domestic Violence Services which is a great support network for anyone suffering domestic abuse.
Pushing back boundaries
Whilst we believe a great deal has been achieved by women for women in pushing back boundaries in inequality there is still a great deal to be done. In 2019 the legal sector celebrate the centenary of women lawyers, an area still mainly dominated by males in senior positions.
Breaking down barriers in the workplace
The trend for the number of women holding senior positions across Britain has fallen, the directors at Paul Crowley & Co are getting a better balance and like to give equal opportunity to all members of employ regardless of gender. During the past 2 years 8 senior positions have been filled by women through promotion or recruitment to leading roles within the company as a director or head of department.
On International Women’s Day 2019, Paul Crowley & Co are getting a better balance and truly bucking the trend on the employment of females in senior positions.
