Donate to Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice
Carol along with the staff at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice provide a variety of services to support families of babies with life limiting or life threatening illnesses.
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool receives very little Government funding and relies on the generosity of the public to help raise the funds to keep the hospice open. Your donation helps to keep the Liverpool Hospice running, in order to help many children and their families to get through each day, for many years to come.

The care provided at Zoë’s Place can be either palliative care or respite. Within these there are following services available to the families.
Respite
Each family that receives respite care will be given an organised and specific tailored care package. The hospices minimum offer will generally be two nights per month. The baby will be cared for by a registered nurse and senior care assistant.
Emergency Respite
In some cases a family may be referred from a hospital, a GP or even from social services. We can help out families who may never have used our services before, but are in urgent need of help and support.
Family Support
At Zoë’s Place, they do not just care for the baby, but for the whole family. Dealing with a child who has a life limiting or threatening illness can be difficult for everyone involved, we have a Facebook support group and hold regular days for the siblings of the children, to meet other siblings and take part in fun activities.
Palliative Care
To maintain effective palliative care for the families, Zoë’s Place work as part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside a GP and a palliative care consultant they can provide ongoing support 24 hours a day.
Bereavement Support
Zoë’s Place provide bereavement support for both families past and new. After a child has passed away, whether at home, in hospital or hospice care, the child can be taken to their bereavement suite, named The Snowdrop Suite and can remain there right up until the funeral. Accommodation is provided for the family to stay on site with their child 24 hours a day.
